“Aaaaaragh”

You let out a strangled noise of pain.

White hot agony shot up from somewhere in your half-conscious body.

Thinking you were still at home on your comfy couch you tried to fidget when you found your body was moving on its own.

Eyes snapping from their drooping state you at last saw your body being dragged. Highly confused and disoriented you kicked only to receive the most horrendous pain imaginable.

“AH!”

*GRRRR!*

Stiffening you dared your eyes to look ahead to see a wolf.

The wolf stared at you with sickly yellow eyes and continued to growl.

Looking down to its mouth you saw your ankle bitten and bloody. Turing your attention back to it, you saw the wolf still trying to drag you to who knows where.

Screaming and determining to put up at least a fight before you got eaten, you grabbed for any tree root that would give you leverage to be away from the beast’s mouth.

To your right side you saw an exposed tree root that looked thick enough to be yanked on and not break. Hastily grabbing it, you pulled yourself hard.

Skin tore and some blood splurted out. The beast roared and chomped down again at your ankle.

But that wasn’t going to stop you. You quickly reached around on your left to find a pointed stick. Giving a battle cry shriek, you successfully stabbed the wolf on its shoulder repeatedly.

In pain the wolf howled and let go of your mangled ankle.

Taking advantage of the very small window of opportunity, you half-limped half-sprinted away into the forest from the carnivorous wolf.

*AWOOOOOOO!*

Your body temperature became as cold as ice. That wolf cry was a chilling sound. It could only mean one thing- that wolf was calling the rest of its pack.

Trying to run even faster despite your torn ankle was near impossible.

You looked up trying to find any sense of direction in this dense forest. The only thing that greeted you was a full moon. It shone through the leaves and its pearly light was almost hypnotic to your eyes.

You would have kept staring at it but you were interrupted by the cries of more wolves advancing.

Tears threatened to peek out as you continued to run. You couldn’t run forever. You were now feeling the effects of exhaustion.

Clutching random closeby trees for what seemed like hours, you felt your adrenaline nearing its end. You couldn’t take it anymore. You finally stopped and leaned against a whitish looking tree.

You tilted your ear to the side to hear if any wolf was following you.

Nothing.

In the dim moonlight you looked behind you just to make sure.

Still nothing. Just the sounds of the forest.

Smiling in relief you rested your head against the bark. A vague sense of something ominous started to creep on you. Gazing down at the path you came from you saw a trail of blood. Your blood.

“I never seen so much red” you whispered. A wave of dizziness swept against you and your body slumped against the tree. Your face grazed the bark of the tree but that didn’t matter.

‘What does new pain matter?’ you thought, ‘I lost too much blood to really care’

Time seemed to have no meaning since the night never seemed to end. You felt your life’s blood trickle out of you. Something tangible slipped away but you were too tired to be concerned. It took a certain kind of energy to think of anything.

Off in the nearby distance was another howl.

‘They’re going to find me aren’t they?’ you weakly twitched your hand.

*Crunch*

Beside you was a crunch of leaves.

‘This is it’ you tiredly said in your head, ‘The wolf finally found me’

The “wolf” came to you its footsteps heavy.

‘Just hurry up and do it already!’ You clenched your teeth and closed your eyes, ‘Just end this torture!’

You heard a human grunt. Apparently a person not a wolf found you.

The person reached over to pick you up when they stopped. The person then put something over your ankle and after picked you up.

Too feeble to open your eyes or bothering to determine if this person was your savior (or a serial killer), you uttered a “Thank you”.

The light of the full moon lulled you to a deep sleep.

~~~~Timeskip Of Germania Bathing In A River… Old-School Commando Style ;D ~~~~~~~~
You jolted from your sleep in a panicked manner.
‘I was in my room looking at a mirror- then I was chased by wolves- and then I was bleeding and saved by someone?!’ You took a breath from your freaked thoughts, “Wow that was some dream”
You took the covers off of you when you realized the material was different from your usual blankets. Breathing stopped, you saw the covers were of a brilliant yellow and seemed to made out of a thick hide of an animal.
Jumping from the animal hide blanket your attention flickered from place to place confused. Black. Red Yellow. Black, red, yellow. BlackRedYellow!!
The colors seemed strikingly familiar and you couldn’t put a finger on it until you saw the flag hanging from the door from what seemed like a closet.
“Germany?” you questioned.
*Snore*
Nearly flying to the roof in terror, you heard the sound again.
The sound came from the foot of the bed.
Inch by inch you crawled over to the sound and peeked your head out. You gazed toward the floor. Your eyes widened and you had to stuff a fist in your mouth to keep from squealing.
Germania. Ger-f*cking-mania!
‘This has to be a dream’ you thought, ‘Some wonderful fantasy developed by my obsess- er- passion’
You watched his calm face breath in and out. Long blonde hair was spread over a pillow like Rumpelstiltskin’s famous spun gold. Staring farther down you saw he was shirtless under the blanket.
You pinched the sensitive part of your underarm to make sure this was real. Sadly you were interrupted when your ankle twitched. “Ow!”
You saw your ankle expertly bandaged. It was wrapped in some form of heavy duty gauze made for continuous bleeding.
“Did he.. do this?” You lightly touched your ankle to groan in pain.
“Are you alright?” a baritone voice said from behind you.
Gulping you turned around and stared at him open mouthed. You watched as he stood up from the floor to go close to you. His orbs observed you. ‘Boy they weren’t lying that his eyes are as green as the forest’
He repeated his question, “Are you alright?”
Blushing because you were gawking at him like some idiot, you replied, “Y-Yes” You looked to his stature. ‘My this guy is tall…that’s so hot’
He went over to sit down near your side. He checked you ankle and nodded. “The bleeding has stopped” His huge hands enveloped your tiny ankle. Their warmth made your whole body light afire.
You stared at him still thinking this couldn’t be real. “Did you save me?”
“Ja”
“Why?” He rose an eyebrow. You blushed trying to explain, “Not that I didn’t want to be saved but I am confused. Why help a random stranger?”
He shrugged, “I couldn’t let a frau in need get eaten by wolves”
“So you heard them too…” You said mostly to yourself.
“Ja, zhe wolves around here attack anything especially at night” Germania looked at you curiously. Normally the wolves would have killed you on the spot- but they only bite your ankle. He wondered why.
“Thank you” You looked away from him face pink. ‘Jeez this must not be a dream if I’m getting flustered like this’
“It vas nothing”
Gazing back at him you told him, “Well since you saved me I should at least know the name of my savior”
He proudly stated, “My name iz Alaric. Nice to meet you”
You stuck out your hand in greeting, “My name is _______ ______. It’s a pleasure to meet the real Germania in person”
Normally Germania would have been baffled why a stranger would know him but after his son Prussia showed him the complex workings of the ‘Internet’, he assumed anything was possible. “…Ja”
You both stared at each other for some time. ‘He’s not a talkative person isn’t he?’ Laughing anxiously you replied, “Can I have my foot back?”
Germania stared down and ever so faintly gave the most miniscule of blushes. “Oh ja traurig- sorry” He gently removed his hands and stood up from the bed. “I’ll go get some breakfast” He was going to turn away when he offered, “…Vould you like to join me?”
Grateful for the invitation you nodded. “I would like that” You stepped off the bed while grabbing on the bedpost for support. Germania being the courteous man he was went over to you for help.
“Thank you again”
He gave you a curt nod while you grabbed onto his muscled forearm for support.
You both exited the room together and went down the stairs at your own pace. Throughout the whole ordeal you kept screaming in your head, ‘I have the sexiest German guy helping me and not to mention he is kind! Why hasn’t anyone back home said this before- wait. Home? Where is that exactly?’
You didn’t have time to ponder this loss of important information when the front door of the gigantic house opened.
You looked to see who it was.
“Hey Vater I’m home!” Prussia yelled as he came in. “The awesome me beat Ludwig in a drinking contest at Tony’s!”
Germany rolled his eyes, “That’s because you dragged me into it!” He held his head, “I think I still have a hangover”
Gilbert laughed, “You’re just a sore los- oh hallo there~” Prussia noticed you. He slyly walked over to you smirking. “Vater who is this fraulien~?”
Germania told his son, “Behave Gilbert. This here is _______. She is our guest and will treated as such”
Prussia clearly hearing his father’s warning tone immediately stopped hitting on you… for now. “Hello frau name’s Gilbert and this here is mein awesome bird Gilbird”
“Tweet!” The cute yellow bird said.
Germany stepped forward, “Hallo mien name is Ludwig. Pleasure to meet you”
You grinned at both brothers. “It’s nice to meet you”
Germania told you, “Let’s get to the kitchen”
You nodded but you felt the two Germanic brothers staring after you interested and whispering to each other.
~~~~~Timeskip Of Alaric Posing for the Sexy Hetalian Nations Magazine~~~~

After you were seated at the dining table and watching Alaric cook breakfast you were soon questioned. The two Germanic brothers assaulted you with question after question.

You understood why Ludwig would question you since he was a military general- but Gilbert? This was entirely new.

What seemed like a lifetime you explained the story of how you were saved by Alaric and when questioned how you knew he was a country you simply said the most believable answer: The Internet.

Prussia was about to whip out his laptop to search you much to your dismay. Fortunately the week before he spilled beer on it- thus making it inoperable.

An audible sigh of relief went out of your mouth. You knew you had to be in some alternate universe so if you didn’t exist here who knew what they would do to you?

Germany was about to offer to get his own laptop when Germania told them, “Breakfast is ready”

Alaric put down a huge plate of pancakes and many bread rolls.

Prussia looked to his father confused. “Kartoffelpuffer?”

Alaric nodded, “Ja” You looked to him questioningly. “It is a type of potato pancake” Germania responded.

Ludwig was slightly surprised, “Vater how come you made zhis? It’s been a long time since you have”

Alaric shrugged. “I felt like it” Germania looked to you and asked, “How’s the ankle?”

“Its fine though I think when I eat I’ll feel better”

Alaric nodded. He went to sit at the head of the table with you beside him.

Being at this close proximity near the man felt both wonderful and horrifying. You tried not to stare at him though little did you know he watched you. He couldn’t put a finger on it but he felt he had seen you before a long time ago. Maybe in a dream he saw you; he couldn’t tell for sure. All he knew was that his heart clutched everytime you smiled.

You kept talking to Ludwig and Gilbert while occasionally talking to Alaric. Everything was going well until Gilbert mentioned where you lived.

You froze. As he mentioned home, it sent your mind back to a chilling memory.

~Memory Begins~

In front of you was the not the reflection of you in the mirror but of the said Hetalia man. Awed by the sight, you went to put your fingers on the glass but was once again shocked to find that the glass was not there.

Your feet accidentally tripped on the feet of the glass leg, thus thrusting your body forward.

“What the!? AHHHhhhhhhhhhh!”

 You gave a blood-curdling scream before you fell into the darkness.

In between the spaces and time came a snickering voice that repeated:

“Everything has a price”

And then came unconsciousness.

~Memory Ends~

Frightened by the memory you shakily put a piece of pancake in your mouth, “It’s a little fuzzy at the moment”

“Fuzzy? Somezhing as knowing vhere you live should be-“ Prussia began.

“Gilbert” Alaric glowered, “Zhe frau has been through enough- talk about somezhing else”

Prussia looked down, “Sorry Vater, ______”

You waved it off, “Its fine. Anyway, it looks like there is a forest around this place”

“It’s away from the city to obtain some peace” Alaric looked out the window from where he was sitting.

You looked also. “It’s beautiful”

Alaric agreed, “Vould you like to go outside?”

Worried you sank deeper into your chair. Noticing your fear from being attacked by wolves last night, Alaric lightly smiled. “Don’t vorry I vill be beside you”

Germany and Prussia stared at their father shocked. They never saw their father faintly smile before.

Alaric stood up and ordered his sons to clean up while you and he go outside.

~~~~~Timeskip Of You Not-so-Innocently Imagining Alaric In A Warrior Outfit~~~~~~
You were now back inside after talking to Germania for hours outside. He wasn’t much of a talker but through his nonverbal ways he showed you all the different types of animals.
The more you hung out with him the more your crush grew.
He always helped you when you tripped but wrapping an arm around you. It was strange to think of him being affectionate but maybe he was just being courteous? You couldn’t tell.
Alaric showed you the dogs that lived with him and his sons. Blackie, Berlitz, and Aster greeted you and seemed to like you.
When you started yawning, Alaric proposed that you both should go to bed since the sun was starting to set. After some confusion to who would be sleeping where, Alaric said you could take his room. You tried to say it was fine sleeping on the couch, he practically demanded you sleep in his room.
Complying because he was downright scary to say no to, you asked where it was. He replied it was where you initially woke up from. Your face heated and you were going to excuse yourself when he spoke again, “Let me check your bandages one last time”
Agreeing you sat down onto the couch and watched as Alaric peeled off the bandages.
You frowned at the look of your foot. The ankle seemed to still be raw and swollen. Pieces of skin were gone and you were glad when Alaric covered it with new gauze.
His fingers moved this way and that until soon your ankle was fully covered again. You thought he was going to quickly remove his hands like he did earlier though he did not. His hands lingered for a moment and his eyebrows knitted together as if he wanted to say something. Alas whatever he yearned to say was lost as he finally disengaged himself from your foot.
“Zhere zhat should do it”
A bit disappointed he didn’t say what he needed to you nonetheless weren’t going to push him. Instead you had to say your own thoughts before you went to bed.
“Thanks.. though can I ask you something?”
His calm eyes beheld you, “Ja”
“How come you were in the forest? Weren’t you afraid that wolves were put there?”
He regarded you before answering, “I vas taking a hike near zhe river when I thought I heard a female scream. Zhen I found you”
“Oh” You thought, ‘Wow without him luckily being nearby I would’ve died. I must show him my gratitude some way…’
Alaric thinking it was time to leave you alone was surprised when you quickly hugged him.
“Thank you Alari! If you didn’t save me from those wolves I wouldn’t have been here now” You released him when you felt him stiffen.
Not being hugged by a woman in centuries made him flustered, “You’re velcome” He wasn’t quite sure what to do with himself, so decided to do the next best thing: Say Goodnight and fake fatigue.
“Gut Nacht” Alaric said before yawning.
You yawned also. “Yeah I’m tired too” You touched the stair railing and when Alaric offered help you politely rebuked him. As you were at the top of the stairs you said, “Goodnight Alaric” and went into your room.
Before closing the door, you saw that Germany’s door was closed and Prussia had his door open while playing on his PS4 yelling into his mic.
Determining no one was going to hear you fangirlish screams, you shouted. “Yes!”
You snickered and grabbed a pillow. You pressed it into your chest ecstatically happy you were in this new world. Though there was one thing that haunted you.
That memory from earlier. Also, you were having a sever lack of remembering your own life before entering this dimension. Hell you couldn’t even remember your own parents.
The reality of that hit you like a ton of bricks. You sat on the bed with the scent of Alaric on the pillow.
Now all that worried your mind was “Why am I forgetting them?...”
“…And how do I get back home?”
